Published in 1960, This is New York, is the fourth book in Miroslav Sasek’s “This is” series. The first in the series to feature a US city, This is New York was also the first of four Sasek books later turned into animated shorts. Sasek highlights all of the classic landmarks, creating a perfectly romanticized and quintessential image of “The Big Apple”.
This is New York and the later published but equally loved, This is San Francisco, are both available in store and in the bookshop.
