Seals Stadium housed both San Francisco’s minor league team, the Seals, and the Giants between 1931-1959. After arriving in San Francisco in 1958, the Giants played two years at Seals Stadium while awaiting the completion of Candlestick Park. The stadium was subsequently torn down and replaced by a White Front department store in 1960. Learn more at FoundSF.
As of tonight, the Giants are only one game away from winning their first World Series in San Francisco!
